Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Doula allowed to be with me in the hospital?

Yes! I will support you however you choose to give birth! Local Hospitals currently allow doula’s to be present in a hospital birth. Doula’s are even allowed in the OR for C-Sections!

Is there any discounts?

Yes! I provide a 10% discount to the following professions:

-Police, EMS, Dispatchers, Nurses, and FireFighters.

I also provide discounts to all military, that can provide an ID or proof.

What is a doula?

Good question! Doula’s are many things, but overall, we use our experience and education in child birth to make the mother satisfied with their birthing experience. Assist with birth plans, share our knowledge with different positions in labor to accommodate mom & baby. Explain the labor process to family members that might be timid of the delivery, reassure them.

As doulas are well connected in the community, I can share local resources that I have found to be beneficial to other families.

Doulas are so many things. I can go over this in our first phone call.

How much is a Doula?

This depends on multiple factors! Each doula is different, as we all have different qualities and tools to bring to the table. There are also different services that we provide, so depending on each families wants/needs, that affects costs. We can go over this as well in our first meeting!
